Talk to someone about what you’re going through
If life is rough for you at the moment, then I encourage you to talk to someone. Don’t fight this battle alone. Talk to someone about how you feel. Your friends, parents, and teachers genuinely care about you. Give them an opportunity to hear what’s going on in your life. Also, don’t be afraid to seek counseling or even a pastor at your local church. The Bible tells us to, “cast our burdens onto God.” There is so much healing when we are vulnerable with God and with others.
“Wish I could tell someone the Whole story of why I am the way I am.”

Be thankful
Joy will help you in your battle with depression. One of the best ways to be joyful is to see everything is a blessing. Instead of remaining in a negative mindset, fight to dwell on all the positives in life. Let’s work to change our perspective. Write down all the things that you are thankful for. Consider praising God for the small things. Your health, the good things about your life, your job, etc. Though life may seem dark at the moment, there is always something to be thankful for.

What doesn’t kill you makes you stronger
Light always comes out of darkness. When Jesus died on the cross, He paid for the sins of the world. Don’t you see? A horrific situation created a beautiful outcome. He died to prove His love for you. I say this to remind you that there is beauty in the storm. Something is always happening. Your character is being shaped, you may one day have to love someone in a similar situation, you are becoming stronger, and wiser.Everything that we go through in life can be used for our good, if we allow it!
